　　The sun is setting

　　To create the brilliant light

　　For tomorrow morn.

　　To write sorrowful stories

　　In the fresh grass and became

　　Countless bright fireflies

　　散落草叢中變成

　　The vast sea asks the

　　Yellow bleak desert whether it is

　　Thirsty all year round.

　　大海問(wèn)荒涼

　　黃色的沙漠是否

　　常年渴得慌

　　East ‘cause the red sun rises there

　　Without exception.

　　A heart will become a sea

　　Of vicious water.

　　若為恨浸泡

　　人心變成一片海

　　惡水逐浪高

　　A heart will become a sea

　　Of gracious water.

　　若為愛(ài)滋潤(rùn)

　　人心變成海一片

　　善水萬(wàn)丈深

　　The world will be turned into

　　A beautiful land.

　　你我把愛(ài)獻(xiàn)

　　這世界就能變成

　　美好的人間

　　即：只要人人獻(xiàn)上一點(diǎn)愛(ài)，世界就會(huì)變成美好的人間。

　　A little piece of wood.

　　都添加一點(diǎn)木柴

　　火焰高得多

　　即：眾人拾柴火焰高。

　　謙虛能幫助

　　You can grind an iron rod

　　(namely perseverance spells success.)

　　你能把鐵棒磨成

　　小小一根針

　　即：只要功夫深，鐵杵磨成針。
