雅思聽力考場(chǎng)高分技巧之排除法

排除法是選擇題的有效答題方法，今天介紹三種排除法：

1, 相似排除

考官在設(shè)置考點(diǎn)時(shí)，故意將音頻中部分原詞放到選項(xiàng)中，并且往往跟在題干關(guān)鍵后出現(xiàn)，引誘考生出錯(cuò)。然后把正確選項(xiàng)同義(近義)改寫成音頻中的內(nèi)容。

例如：

-Why has James chosen to do a case study on the company Furniture Rossi?

A. It has enjoyed global success

B. It is still in a development phase

C. It is an example of a foreign company being rebranded for Australia.

音頻‘Furniture Rossi is an Australian company, got plans to expand into foreign markets…’雖然音頻中出現(xiàn)了選項(xiàng)c中的部分原詞，但是表達(dá)的句義與c選項(xiàng)并不相同;‘a(chǎn)iming to build a global brand…’,出現(xiàn)A選項(xiàng)原詞，句義不符。答案句 ‘it is gong through a transition…’,transition與development phase構(gòu)成替換。

可見如果我們把握住出題者設(shè)置陷阱的手段，就可以通過(guò)相似排除的方法，提升答題正確率。

2, 時(shí)態(tài)排除

通過(guò)觀察不難發(fā)現(xiàn)，一般情況下，選擇題所考察的時(shí)態(tài)均為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，偶爾考察過(guò)去或者將來(lái)時(shí)時(shí)，題干上會(huì)有明確的時(shí)態(tài)標(biāo)示詞。既然?？疾煲话悻F(xiàn)在時(shí)，那么音頻中描述過(guò)去或者將來(lái)的內(nèi)容則為干擾信息。

常見過(guò)去時(shí)路標(biāo)詞：was/were, V+ed…thought, use to, in the past…

常見將來(lái)時(shí)路標(biāo)詞：plan/intend to do sth, thinking to, aiming to, next time…

例如：

-The entertainment will be a

A. Live band

B. Comedian

C. Magician

音頻‘we were expecting a live band…we had hoped that the resident magician who worked here through the summer would be able to help out but they were not keen on the idea…’由音頻可知A和C選項(xiàng)都為過(guò)去時(shí)，可以通過(guò)時(shí)態(tài)法進(jìn)行排除。

3, 并列排除

這一方法是在解答聽力單選題中最好用的方法。即一般情況下，在三個(gè)選項(xiàng)中，如果其中有兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)由and或者or連接，那么這兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)一般均不是答案。

例如：

-Local newspapers have raised worries about

A. The late opening date

B. The cost of the project

C. The size of the facilities

音頻‘a(chǎn)lso, just in case you were wondering, we’re on schedule for June 15th opening date and well within budget…’其中on schedule對(duì)應(yīng)A選項(xiàng)，within budget對(duì)應(yīng)B選項(xiàng)，兩句由and連接，可知答案為C。

然而我們說(shuō)，雅思考試從來(lái)不以單純地考察你的單詞量為目的，其聽力考試的考察主旨也是看考生是否能在正常的生活、學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)下聽懂自己需要的信息，既然是正常的生活學(xué)習(xí)的狀態(tài)，那就一定會(huì)碰到我們考生不認(rèn)識(shí)的詞，所以大家首先要有這個(gè)心理準(zhǔn)備，有生詞是正常的;其次，一般來(lái)說(shuō)，雅思聽力不會(huì)要求考生去填寫那些巨難的生詞，這不符合雅思的出題思路。因此，考生們只要了解到生詞出現(xiàn)的目的和生詞常常在什么時(shí)候出現(xiàn)，就很容易繞過(guò)生詞去答題了。

難詞出現(xiàn)有章可循

首先一般生詞出現(xiàn)的兩個(gè)套路：第一是在填空題當(dāng)中“魚目混珠”，干擾考生去抓那個(gè)熟悉的詞，第二是在選擇搭配等題型當(dāng)中對(duì)一些詞進(jìn)行代換和解釋，這種代換解釋又可以分為兩種情況來(lái)討論，一是對(duì)于干擾選項(xiàng)的代換，其實(shí)我們大多數(shù)時(shí)候都是通過(guò)聽力文章段落的劃分、說(shuō)話人的主觀語(yǔ)氣選擇等方式將干擾項(xiàng)排除掉，所以生詞可以直接跳過(guò)，第二種情況就是對(duì)正確選項(xiàng)的代換了，雖然理論上說(shuō)正確選項(xiàng)是我們需要聽懂的，但是雅思聽力中如果對(duì)正確選項(xiàng)就行了生詞代換，那一般都會(huì)繼續(xù)用一些從句、同位語(yǔ)等方式進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步解釋說(shuō)明。

考生應(yīng)在了解這兩個(gè)套路的基礎(chǔ)上，勤加練習(xí)，像玩“掃地雷”的游戲一樣把一個(gè)個(gè)的生詞坑跳過(guò)去。下面我們利用劍橋當(dāng)中的實(shí)例，看看究竟怎樣在填空題和選擇題中跳過(guò)生詞，鎖定答案。

舉一些例子

在劍五的test1 section2當(dāng)中，介紹對(duì)各個(gè)品牌的嬰兒床的評(píng)價(jià)，表格的最右欄出現(xiàn)一個(gè)單詞verdict，有些同學(xué)是不認(rèn)識(shí)這個(gè)單詞的，讀題時(shí)覺得很恐懼，可是大家想一想，這個(gè)表格一個(gè)四欄，前面三個(gè)已經(jīng)分別講述了嬰兒床的品牌名稱，優(yōu)點(diǎn)及存在問(wèn)題，那最后一欄一定一個(gè)總結(jié)性的信息。

簡(jiǎn)單地說(shuō)，這種品牌的嬰兒床值不值得推薦。因此，即使你不知道verdict是裁定、審定的意思，也沒(méi)關(guān)系，只要你知道最后這一欄應(yīng)該填上說(shuō)話人對(duì)于各品牌的主觀態(tài)度、綜合評(píng)價(jià)即可。那么這道題是很簡(jiǎn)單的，除了自己推斷這個(gè)方法以外，大家還可以根據(jù)讀音鎖定答案，原因是錄音材料中并沒(méi)有進(jìn)行代換，退一步說(shuō)，即使代換了另一個(gè)考生不認(rèn)識(shí)的詞，也沒(méi)關(guān)系，反正我們牢記我們要抓的是主觀綜合評(píng)價(jià)，即可鎖定satisfactory，dangerous和best buy這三個(gè)答案。

選擇題同樣可以做好

如果說(shuō)填空題可以直接繞過(guò)生詞鎖定答案，那么有時(shí)候在選擇題當(dāng)中，生詞就是答案的情況就顯得難一些。但是只要我們掌握方法，這樣的題目也是可以做好的，從雅思聽力的出題規(guī)律來(lái)看，如果在三選一的選擇題當(dāng)中，利用生詞來(lái)替換答案，那么錄音材料一定會(huì)在后面對(duì)答案進(jìn)行補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明，這種補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明通常都是以定語(yǔ)從句，同位語(yǔ)，或者是下定義的方式給出，考生需要做的，就是在聽到生詞答案后不要驚慌，記住這個(gè)生詞的大致發(fā)音，然后屏氣凝神等下文對(duì)這個(gè)生詞的解釋。甚至在有些時(shí)候，雅思真題表現(xiàn)得就像擔(dān)心考生選不出正確答案一樣，除了解釋說(shuō)明外，前前后后還會(huì)給考生很多暗示，我們來(lái)看看劍四當(dāng)中的一道題：

在劍四的test3 section2當(dāng)中，是以為女士向大家介紹一個(gè)summer festival的活動(dòng)內(nèi)容，其中第十四題選擇題，問(wèn)到了某個(gè)馬戲團(tuán)將在什么地方為大家演出，一共三個(gè)選項(xiàng)，theatre, tent和stadium，都不是很難。問(wèn)題是后面的錄音當(dāng)中，正確答案tent被代換成了一個(gè)較為生僻的單詞：marquee，大部分同學(xué)都這個(gè)詞都沒(méi)有印象，答案在it followed a long tradition by performing in a marquee這句話中帶出來(lái)，同學(xué)們都知道答案是marquee，問(wèn)題是，marquee對(duì)應(yīng)的究竟是三個(gè)選項(xiàng)中的哪一個(gè)?很多同學(xué)就這么慌了神，錯(cuò)過(guò)了后面的內(nèi)容。

其實(shí)，如果同學(xué)們能夠牢記雅思的考察要點(diǎn)，細(xì)心大膽地等待后面的內(nèi)容：which is really like a canvas portable building, usually put up in a green space or car park, rather than in a theatre or stadium.就一定可以分析出答案是B，帳篷。

推斷答案的方法多種多樣

具體分析來(lái)看，我們至少有三個(gè)方法推斷出答案：第一，根據(jù)聽力的解釋說(shuō)明原則，后面句子說(shuō)marquee是一個(gè)帆布的，可以動(dòng)的，通?？梢约茉谝黄G地上或者是停車場(chǎng)上，那么這個(gè)答案就是帳篷無(wú)疑了;或者，也可以利用所謂的“答案不明說(shuō)，明說(shuō)不答案”的原則，清楚明白地讀出來(lái)的一定不是答案，可以排除theatre和stadium，更何況theatre和stadium前面還有一個(gè)表示否定的rather than呢;再或者，考生如果能抓到前面的as this is a traveling circus，從一個(gè)traveling當(dāng)中也可以大膽推測(cè)出，這個(gè)馬戲團(tuán)是在帳篷中演出的。

從這些例子我們可以看出，即使是在雅思聽力中遇到了生詞，我們也不要害怕，一定可以有辦法把正確答案找出來(lái)。當(dāng)然了，在平時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)中還是要注意詞匯的積累，否則如果一句話有一多半的單詞不認(rèn)識(shí)那么什么技巧也不管用的
